   History. The Wallets were founded as an experimental group by accordionist Steve Kramer and managed by Bob Hest. The Allen Toussaint-produced debut album Take It was released in , described by SPIN as urban soul and funk with "a Cajun smell to their work". The album saw the band described as "art rockers who not only want to groove but know how to groove".Genres: Post-punk.

   The recorded version of "Totally Nude" presented on this 12" is unique to this release. Up-tempo Minneapolis dance at its best. The delightful b-side "How To Keep Time To Music" also appears on the compilation album "17 Songs." Some copies distributed in plastic bag with 24" x 24" poster of some of Steve Kramer's artwork.
